Curadero brings the authentic flavors of Mexico north of the border. As Hotel Palomar San Diego’s in-house taquería and ceviche bar, Curadero’s relaxed atmosphere is one part Mexico City cantina, two parts Rosarito taco stand, and 100% delicioso. Mornings mean breakfast tacos and traditional Mexican egg dishes, while lunch and dinner are all about Chef Kraten’s local, sustainable ceviche bar and creative tacos served on pillowy corn tortillas that are made in-house. Pair a couple (dozen) with something from our ever-changing margarita menu and head upstairs to the Arriba Room, a hang-out space stocked with vintage arcade games, foosball, pool tables and more.

Meet the Chef

Chef Kraten spent two decades helming some of the Bay Area’s top kitchens, including Spago and Park Place. At Curadero, he draws inspiration from the Mexican-American community in his native San Jose, California.
