Located at the heart of Palomar San Diego's cultural district, Hotel Palomar San Diego strives to contribute to and support the arts. To that end, the hotel features a gallery space on-site featuring one new local artist each month. The exhibits are selected and presented in partnership with Salazar Contemporary Art, a collection which boasts five additional galleries in the downtown San Diego area. As a part of the gallery's operations, the hotel is donating all proceeds from art sales to a different local charity each month.

In the month of April, the Palomar San Diego will be showcasing Erik Skoldberg, a native San Diegan, whose work is inspired by his connection to the ocean, surf and nature's vibrant colors. His ultimate goal is to provide a new vision of eye catching color combinations. The hotel proceeds from the sale of Skoldberg's art will be donated to "Mama's Kitchen," a non-profit organization with new and innovative programs to benefit childrens' charities and enhance the lives of less fortunate youth in San Diego.
