COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS

Welcome to Kimpton Hotel Palomar San Diego. At this time, we are open and accepting guests.

We're continuing to monitor developments and following guidance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and the State of California. To help safeguard your health and best serve you during your stay with us, we've made necessary modifications to our amenities and services. In addition to our rigorous standard housekeeping routines, we've increased the frequency of our cleaning procedures and have put in place additional measures to enhance our disinfection protocol in public areas.

Starting Monday, July 27, face coverings are required in all public spaces at our hotels in the Americas.

Guest Amenity Fees:

  • Guest Amenity Fees of $25 + tax will be charged per night of your stay and include the following:
    • Welcome beverage
    • $10 daily Food and Beverage credit
    • Printing and copying services up to 50 pages
    • Upgraded WiFi speed throughout the hotel’s guest rooms and public spaces for up to 5 devices (normally a $14.99/night)

Signature Kimpton Programs:

  • Morning Coffee Service available at the Front Desk from 7:00a.m. - 9:00a.m. or a coffee maker can be provided upon request.
  • Morning Kick-Start will feature a "Kimpton Get Up + Go" playlist.
  • Evening Social Hour will now offer an opportunity to unwind and relax over a glass of wine or a cold beer in the comfort of your room. Visit the front desk for additional details.
  • Robes for use during your stay are available upon request.
  • In-room Spa Services have been suspended.

Pool and Cabana Availability:

  • Our pool is open. To maximize access while maintaining distancing guidelines, availability is limited. Visit the front desk for additional information. Learn More.
  • Food and Beverage service is available on Friday and Saturday.

Minibar:

  • In need of a snack or a cold drink? Stop by the front desk to purchase a variety of mini-bar items from our pop-up bodega.

Parking Services:

  • Valet parking is currently available Friday at 12p through Sunday until 1pm for $50/night (no in and out privileges available from 11pm - 7am). The closest self-parking option is 5th and Broadway Garage across the street. They're offering a special rate to Kimpton Hotel Palomar San Diego guests of $38/night (plus fees) that includes in and out privileges passes may be purchased. Dining Services:

  • Curadero Restaurant is currently closed.
  • Grab and Go Breakfast and All Day options are available through the Front Desk.

Fitness Center:

  • For the health and safety of our guests and employees, our fitness center is temporarily closed.

In-Room Dining:

  • In Room Dining is not currently available.

Housekeeping Services:

  • To protect the safety of our guests and employees, our housekeeping service is completely contactless. This means that our housekeeping team will not enter your room during your stay. Our team will check in daily via text to offer contactless delivery of towels, sheets or trash pick-up. You can also text us directly at 619-345-0466 to request delivery at any time including our "Forgot It, We Got It" items such as a toothbrush or razor.
  • We have removed certain guest room items (think throw pillows, pens/paper, books and robes) as a precautionary measure or in some cases made changes to other in room amenities. Learn more about Kimpton's Approach to Clean.

Concierge Services:

  • Looking for ice? For your safety, we have suspended our in-floor ice machine service in lieu of contactless delivery. Contact us 619-345-0466 and we'll take care of the rest.

Other Services:

  • In-House Bell services are not currently available.
